The sleeve includes personal inscriptions such as “To Daniel” and “Our Bro in Dance Music,” suggesting it was originally signed for an individual recipient.

The piece represents a signed example of Ten City’s late-1980s Chicago house output, a period that helped define the crossover between gospel-influenced vocals and club production.
